We do not use this information to directly identify you.

Tutor Directory Activity

When you open a tutor's profile in our tutor directory, we record that the visit happened so we can tell each tutor how much interest their listing is attracting. If you are signed in, that record includes your account.

• Tutors never see who visited. They receive counts only — how many people viewed their profile and how many started a request. They are not shown your name, your account, or any list of visitors.
• This is separate from the study progress a tutor can see once you have sent them a request and they have accepted it, which you control and can switch off at any time from your dashboard.
• These are first-party measurements made on our own servers. They do not use cookies, are not shared with anyone, and do not follow you to other websites.

Tutor Applications

If you apply to be listed as a tutor at /tutors/apply, we store what you send us: your name, email address, location, teaching background, any qualifications and links you list, and what you write about yourself. You do not need an IBonomics account to apply.

• Only IBonomics staff can read an application. It is not public, it is not visible to other tutors, and it is not part of the tutor directory. Nothing you write appears anywhere until you are approved and you yourself publish a profile.
• We keep applications whether or not they are accepted, so that we have a record of who was reviewed and why. If we approve you, the information you gave us is used to set up your tutor profile, which you then control.
• We also store a one-way hash of the IP address the application came from. It is used to limit automated submissions and cannot be turned back into your address.
• You can ask us to delete your application at any time by emailing ibonomics.org@gmail.com.

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services, including:
